I work at a furniture store. On everything we sell, we put a price tag which has a description of the product on it.
I even saw the customer in question look at the price tag, on which we had written ‘Bookcase’ very clearly.
If you don’t know that a bookcase labeled ‘bookcase’ is a bookcase, I’m not sure i can help you.
I frequently got this, only in regards to what scent a candle/potpourri/room spray something was (despite it being clearly marked and often in large lettering and with signage identifying the fragrance surrounding said item).
Also, they’d usually refer to it as a “flavor”.
Please don’t consume candles. They are probably very fattening.
